Good news for Delhi people as bars, clubs can serve from September 9 New guidelines by the Delhi government will be permitted to serve liquor in clubs and hotels from 9 September to 30 September on the trial bases by the request of the owners of hotels and clubs.

Delhi Disaster Management Authority chairman lieutenant governor Anil Baijal issued the new guidelines to maintain the proper distance.

Delhi government accepts the proposal only on one condition by allowing 50% setting occupancy will be allowed with proper social distancing. No standing customer will be allowed at the entrance nor served. Hand sanitizer and dispensers will be available at the entrance of the area. Social distancing and wearing of masks would be allowed only after thermal screening. All these procedures must be followed by the owner of the chains for the protection of the people.

There is a minimum deployment of employees to maintain social distancing. The manager has to wear gloves, mask, and maintain complete health hygiene by frequently using hand sanitizer and washing of hands.

The proper safety measures must be taken by the owners. The premises must be sanitized at the regular bases and drinking area, toilets, and washing stations must be cleaned after every interval. Seat, tables, etc must be properly sanitized after each and every guest leaves the premises. Any guest who left any mask or glove in the seat or table must be disposed of properly. Now, there are strict actions on those who not only follow the rules.

Spitting would not be allowed in public places. Delhi government issued the new rule if any person will be found spitting in the public area and a fine will be charged against him or her of 5000 rupees.
