Due to “Personal Reasons”, PV Sindhu opts out from Uber Cup PV Sindhu has backed out of the 2020 Thomas and Uber Cup ostensibly due to “personal reasons”. In a statement, Sindhu’s father said that “Sindhu will not be taking part in the 2020 Thomos and Uber Cup due to personal reasons’. The Thomos and Uber Cup is planned to commence from October 3 and lasts until October 11 in Denmark. Originally, Sindhu was attacked and criticized to return to the court at the Thomos and Uber Cup.
PV Sindhu had gone back to training last month when the national camp commenced for eight Olympic –bound athletes at the Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad.
Sindhu attended an Instagram live session from the Bank of Baroda’s official Instagram handle, Sindhu citied that her father encouraged her to pursue a career in sports.
When asked about her inspiration during the live video, she said” Dad encouraged me to take up sports, when I chose to play badminton he never questioned my choice. “ according to her, her dad has been her major source of insipiration and motivation. She further added, her father taught her the basics of sportsmanship and will be her first teacher of her life. She owes her career to her dad.
She was further confronted with a question that which alternate career would she have chosen, to which she replied “, As a child, I wanted to be a doctor, but now I think badminton was a better choice then and it is a better choice now. “ clearly, we agree that choosing career in sports was definitely a better option for her as she is a star in particular sports she chose to persue. PV sindhu has been winner in 2016 summer Olympics and 2018 asian games and commonwealth games.
